Just a short drive from The Orchards you will find “captivating Lake Erie shoreline and sweeping vistas that you can only get with a Great Lake and great river at 1,607-acre Lake Erie Metropark” as their website shares with readers.

There is so much natural beauty that our area has to share. As the sun shines bright even on a cold sub-zero Winter’s day, there is much to plan to do in the area within a 10-15 minute drive.

Flat Rock is just to the North of our community and has Huroc Park and Oakwoods Metropark to offer. The Huron Clinton Metropark is a large area that has park entrances in New Boston to the West and Rockwood to the East.

And there are many smaller parks very close like our own Ash Carleton Park. Also Unity Park in Monroe and Robert Laginess Park in Newport.

There is much to do in the parks and trails throughout the area within 5-10 miles of The Orchards. Fresh air and nature are good for the soul and good for our health. Please say hi when you see us there!
